Shipping and Logistics Policy

Thank you for choosing PLX Devices Inc. We engineer high-performance systems and execute streamlined logistics to deliver your products directly from our innovative manufacturing pipelines to your door. By completing an order on our storefront, you accept and agree to the shipping, delivery, and liability terms detailed below.

1. Order Processing and Fulfillment Timelines

All orders are processed subject to inventory verification and quality control inspections. Standard processing for in-stock items typically takes 2–4 business days. High-performance custom platforms, pre-ordered units, or specialized production runs may utilize customized freight windows. Estimated shipping windows provided during checkouts or in promotional campaigns are approximations and do not constitute a legal guarantee of delivery dates.

2. Transfer of Risk and Ownership (FOB Shipping Point)

All shipments dispatched by PLX Devices Inc. are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the Risk of Loss and title for all merchandise pass directly to you, the purchaser, the exact moment we hand the package over to the commercial carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, or freight forwarder) at our shipping dock. PLX Devices Inc. is not liable for carrier transit delays, weather disruptions, route diversions, or parcel misplacement once the package is under carrier custody.

3. Standard and Freight Delivery Requirements

  • Adult Signature Mandate: Due to the high value and electronic sophistication of our systems, major hardware components, battery packs, and hydrofoil systems strictly require an adult signature upon delivery.
  • Freight Shipments (Curbside Delivery): Large items are shipped via specialized freight and include standard curbside delivery. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be present at the scheduled delivery window provided by the carrier to inspect the crate and sign for the package. If a freight delivery is missed or refused without written authorization from PLX, the customer will be liable for all storage fees, re-delivery penalties, and return-to-sender freight charges.

4. International Shipping, Customs Duties, and Declarations

PLX Devices Inc. ships globally. For all international orders, the recipient acts as the official Importer of Record and must comply with all import laws and regulations of the destination country.
