Satisfaction Guarantee & 48-Hour Inspection Policy

✨ We are 100% confident that when you receive your board and inspect its exceptional, premium quality and precision workmanship, you are going to be absolutely thrilled with the results.

When you purchase an XFoil platform, your order will ship directly from one of our global fulfillment centers. High-performance innovations require strict transit verification. Upon delivery, you have 48 hours to inspect the complete contents of your package and verify proper operational integrity on dry land. This includes connecting the system and testing the motor, battery systems, wireless remote, and all integrated electronic components to ensure everything functions exactly as engineered.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied within this 48-hour land-inspection period (calculated strictly from the carrier’s tracked delivery date and timestamp), you may request a return authorization and refund.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a refund under this structural guarantee, all returned merchandise must meet all of the following rigid criteria:

  • The product must not have been used in the water. Any submersion or open-water operational footprint immediately invalidates this policy.
  • All items must be completely undamaged, in brand-new, pristine, and resellable condition.
  • All integrated components, sub-assemblies, accessories, modular hardware, tools, manuals, chargers, and original factory packaging (including protective foam inserts) must be enclosed.
  • Return logistics and shipping costs are the exclusive responsibility of the customer.
  • A formal Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be issued by PLX Devices Inc. before any items are shipped back.
  • Purchases must be made directly through our official storefront. Early-stage crowdfunding platforms (such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo) are strictly excluded from retail protection policies and are delivered "AS-IS".

Inspection & Deductions

Upon receipt at our service facility, our specialized engineering team will conduct a thorough physical and diagnostic evaluation. The fulfillment team maintains full discretion to determine:

  • Whether the platform is in pristine, resellable condition.
  • Whether any technical deductions are required for transit damage, missing parts, subtle signs of field use, compromised packaging layers, or operational wear.

Refund Timeline

Refunds for qualifying returns will be processed and credited to the original payment method within approximately 14 business days after our fulfillment center receives, inspects, and validates the returned merchandise.

Additional Legal Terms & Protections

Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

PLX Devices Inc. reserves the absolute right to refuse returns, cancel pending orders, or revoke refund eligibility in cases of suspected billing fraud, payment dispute abuse, policy manipulation, or attempts to return units that have been exposed to water or structurally modified.

Condition of Returned Goods

If a product is returned in a condition that renders it structurally non-resellable, PLX may reject the return entirely and ship the item back to the customer at their sole expense, or apply structural deductions up to 100% of the initial purchase value.

Risk of Loss

The customer assumes all liabilities regarding: secure packaging for safe return transit, purchasing comprehensive shipping insurance matching full retail value, and tracking any loss or damage that occurs during return transit. PLX Devices Inc. is not liable for returned items that are lost, damaged, or misdelivered by logistics carriers.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PLX Devices Inc.’s liability is limited solely to the net refund amount of the product returned in accordance with this policy. PLX accepts zero liability for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages—including loss of time, operational downtime, property damage, or personal injury resulting from handling or unauthorized usage.

Jurisdiction & Venue

This policy shall be interpreted and governed in all respects by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A. In absolute alignment with our overarching corporate Terms and Conditions, any disputes, claims, or legal actions arising from this policy shall be settled exclusively via binding arbitration inside Alameda County, California.

Policy Updates

PLX Devices Inc. reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue this policy framework at any time without prior notice. The specific policy version in effect at the exact timestamp of the customer’s order will govern the transaction parameters.
